RecommendationsAfter analyzing all the resources, it clearly states that consumers should use vinegar more than bleach. Even though it's much more expensive than bleach, it's the safest product. According to the American Association of Poison Control Centers (http://www.rodale.com/natural-disinfectant), chlorine bleach poisoned 14,400 children under the age of 6 in 2007. Because of it's toxic levels, bleach can be a dangerous product to both humans and the environment. Whereas vinegar hardly has any effects to the environment and a minimal effect to humans. It doesn't cause a short term or long term affect to the human health, whereas bleach does. In addition, when the bleach is exposed to the environment, it damages the animals like fishes and other marine animals. Whereas vinegar has no effect on the environment. Furthermore, vinegar is a very good disinfectant and should be used more. Whereas bleach should be more used in workplaces where no one under aged or any animal can touch it or be in contact with. Overall, vinegar is a good choice to use as a disinfectant when compared to bleach.
